P5 Activities - Reading Skills

We all read a story together. 

We had to try and find a happy part in the story.

Once the story was finished we had to discuss what made the happy part happy!

Then we had to record the section of the story in our language jotters.

We drew pictures and wrote information together with P5.

Some of the stories were very funny!

Letting Off Steam

Games

In games today we were learning to use different skills for throwing and dribbling the ball.

We began with simple throws in the air to ourselves.

Then we did underarm passes to a partner.

We did bouncing the ball with one hand then two.

We did team passing challenges.

And travelling with the ball.

We finished up with some target practice.

We all had a shot of getting the ball in the hoop!

We did manage a few baskets.

Suzanne and Callie were there to help too.

We had good fun.

Next week we will develop the skills now we know what we can and can't do!
