End of Term Assembly

Our assembly was all about sharing the learning we have done this term.

Everyone was very excited to see their families arrive.

P1/2 were up first.

Half the class chose to do Jolly Phonics songs and actions.

The other half chose to do French with Camembert.

At the end everyone sang our smile song.

P1/2 have been very busy learning a lot of things this term.

P3/4 told us the story of The Good Samaritan.

P4/5 did a dramatisation of building a Viking long boat.

P6/7 told us about their trip to Corrigall Farm Museum.

We have had a great first term:-)

Baking with more success

After we had a masterclass in bere bannock making we tried it again ourselves.

P6/7 took groups of P1/2 and followed the new recipe.

Everyone had a go at helping make the mixture.

There were lots of skills needed for the activity.

Reading recipes and communicating.

Weighing and measuring.

and tidying up!

The other groups had a chance to play together whilst they waited.

They had great fun:-)
