Making Salt Dough Starfish

P5 helped us make salt dough starfish outside.

Everyone had to remember the recipe so they could do it themselves.

Everyone did a splendid job and created some super starfish models.

We left them in the sun to dry.

Then we searched the internet to find images of starfish.

We painted the models to look like the real thing.

P5 are going to teach us some facts they have already learnt.

Then the P1/2 class will give a short presentation showing their models and telling their facts.

We will then make our seashore display.
