MacMillan Preparation

We have started making table centres for our coffee morning on Friday.

Firstly we looked at the word MacMillan and the letters in the name.

We split the word into 3 parts and sounded it out. Then each group had to set out their own letters in the correct order.

Using purple and green the groups had to decorate their letters before they got laminated.

Then it was on to the cardboard tubes.

The tubes were painted green, one to hold each letter. 

There was a lot of counting and organising done in pairs to share the work.

The challenge was to have a decorated tube for every letter set out in a row on the desk.

The end result was super.
