Learning about Learning

It is important for children to understand what they have to do to be successful in their learning.

Before we start we share the learning intention. Then we set or success criteria, for example:
'We should form our letters properly, colour in neatly and choose good colours.'

After we have done the work we can evaluate how successful we were.

We all put a star sticker on the work we thought was successful for this activity, but the evaluation can be done in lots of different ways.

We are learning to use a smiley face scale for evaluating a lot of the things we do.
