We were learning different skills during our baking session today. |

We washed our hands and put our aprons on before measuring out quantities of butter, sugar, syrup and cornflakes. |

We used different sized containers to measure the quantities. |
 |
Then we melted some of the ingredients on the hob in a heavy based saucepan. |
 |
We had to be very careful not to burn ourselves. |
 |
Once the ingredients were melted together, we added the cornflakes. |
 |
We made enough for one doodlebug each. |
 |
They were very sweet and tasty. |
